This is one of my favorite sandwich spots in the area. The staff is very friendly and the produce is always very fresh. While most of the meats are very good, I was a bit dissapointed with the pastrami which was lacking any real brine flavor. All of the breads I've had have been very tasty as well, though it is a very thick cut. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the sub. If the bread to filling ratio were better this could be a 5 star sub.

Really great experience across the board. Environment was spacious and clean. All the snacks were organized, fridges were stocked with a variety of drinks, and they even had an ice cream fridge! Service was great; nice and friendly. When it was my turn to order, I told them it was my first time here and I wasn't sure what to get. One of the men making the sandwiches told me their two most popular sandwiches that were not on the menu--The Drifter and Customer's Favorite. So, easy decision for me and I got them both haha. I browsed the shop and sat at one of the tables to wait. There's also a coffee bar and a couple espresso machines. My order took maybe 10-15 min with a few ahead of mine. Both sandwiches were delicious! Makes sense that they are most popular. I'll definitely be back!

I was craving a sandwich & decided to try this place. The sandwiches are top-notch--made with fresh ingredients, and the variety of options means there's something for everyone. I tried the Honey BBQ & Pastrami Sandwich, which were both delicious & exceeded my expectations. But it's not just about the food. The cafe area is cozy with a great selection of coffee to complement your meal. They also have ice cream, tons of drinks & snacks. This is the ideal spot for a quick lunch or to hang out with friends. What really sets this place apart, though, is the owner. Steve is super friendly--It's always nice to see someone so invested in their business and their customers. The staff is great too! Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area--whether you're grabbing a sandwich to-go or enjoying a coffee in their cafe, you won't be disappointed!

I've been on a sandwich craze recently. It's been a goal of mine to find the best sando in the Bay Area. I didn't think we'd find it so quick. I got the Turkey Pesto and my partner got the Italian Combo. I love how the Turkey Pesto included marinated artichoke hearts - they really elevated the sandwich. My partner loved his too. You can tell that Driftwood uses all fresh ingredients and puts love into every sandwich they make. The dutch crunch bread was perfect and the pickles...SO GOOD! I needed a midday caffeine kick so I also ordered a double americano. Steve made my drink, who I later found out is the owner of the deli. It was such a pleasure chit chatting with him, he showed genuine interest in getting to know us and his other customers. The americano was delicious and hot, just what I needed. The beans Steve used were definitely freshly roasted and at their prime. The market has various chips, snacks, drinks (alcohol too!) and even ice cream. You can really get it all, perfect for heading to a nearby park and having a picnic. We took a short drive to Pearson-Arastradero Preserve and had our sandos in the parking lot before our hike since we couldn't wait. Can't wait to come back soon, my partner and I both made an agreement that we will stop here whenever we're in the area.

The ambiance is OK. It's like a deli market; you order your sandwiches at one counter, and order coffee & pay at another counter. The service is great- super friendly. We ordered heaven on earth (roast beef, bacon, cheese, avocado, pickles, lettuce tomatoes) on a Dutch Crunch roll. It was really yummy. The bread was soft and crunchy. Veggies were fresh. Very good sandwich for a very reasonable price.

This was probably one of the best deli sandwiches I've had in the peninsula. The bread was toasted to perfection and there was so much flavor in every bite. The shop location is very convenient with an accessible parking lot. The service was very fast, I was in and out in 15 mins. There's a big selection of snacks and drinks to choose from inside as well. The only downside was the price of the sandwiches. Two sandwiches cost me ~$30 so although the flavor was amazing, the sandwich itself was on the smaller end.

Great sandwiches that you can customize any part of. Fair pricing, and the sandwiches are the perfect size for me - a very filling meal, but not so massive that I can't finish it in one sitting. Dutch crunch when toasted rides that fine line between crunchy and mouth-shreddy, I thought it was great. An awesome sandwich spot!

I love me a good deli sandwich and boy, did this place not disappoint! I can see why it's so popular in this area, especially for lunch hour! I got the Meat Lover's sandwich and it was beautifully layered with delicious cold cuts, I couldn't even fit it with one big bite. THAT is perfection. Let alone the meat to bread ratio was *muah* on point. Dutch crutch is immaculate with deli sandwiches. Staff was friendly and welcoming as well as helped guide patrons (if they aren't already aware... like me!) how to order. There's plenty of small seats if you aren't planning to be there a while. I'd say about 15-20 customers comfortably? Parking on the other hand, was very tight.
